Background: I hadn't played SWCCG in > 12 years when I stumbled upon the last remnant of my collection in the basement. My kids (10-18) were sort of interested, but it was clear that the decks I had were way over their head. They don't have patience for the full-on SWCCG experience (yet) and may only ever play casually at home. So I created this deck for them along with a Ralltiir Ops deck, Ralltiir Nights. The two decks are rather similar, and that's on purpose -- again, lowering the learning curve.

To that end, this deck purposefully excludes (1) V cards, (2) complicated combos, (3) Shields, (4) cards I don't actually own. I did want them to have the full flavor of SWCCG, however. (OK, maybe not quite the full flavor -- no sabaac or inserts :/)

Indeed, for the first few games with my kids I excluded the Objective just to keep things simple.

Strategy: Quickly spread across systems and sites in order to force drain. Hinder opponent's ability to deploy, force drain, or win/survive battles.

Tactics: The Signal to start with Strike Planning in order to get General Crix Madine in order to pull Scouts.

Flip quickly by pulling Sites with the Objective and more Scouts with Mon Mothma.

Hinder DS deployment with Goo Nee Tay, Corporal Kensaric, and Sullust.

Slow force drains with Entrenchment, Rebel Fleet, Dantooine Base Operations/More Dangerous Than You Realize.

Win/survive battles with Firefight, Slight Weapons Malfunction, Organized Attack, Balanced Attack, S-Foils, Out Of Nowhere, Mon Mothma at Home One: War Room, and, of course character weapons.

It wouldn't be Star Wars without Artoo-Detoo In Red 5 and the Millennium Falcon, which can make Legendary Starfighter lots of fun. (Also, I don't have any more Squadrons.)

Possible Swap-Ins:

PS Like I said, it's been >12 years since I've played so I'm surely overlooking things or forgetting awesome cards. Your feedback -- keeping in mind my objective of relatively simple, enjoyable nights with my kids -- will be much appreciated!
